25.07.09: The Ruthless win SCTFL 14

Selfkill.com congratulates the new SCTFL champions R7, who earned their title after a four round final against Seals. Over a houndred people were able to watch how much effort both clans put in the fight as the final was streamed and commented by Toumaz. We have asked the winner clan's leader Blade to give us a little statement about how they have experienced the final and SCTFL 14 in general and here it is:

Blade (R7): Well, as far as the final went, although unfortunately Capone didn't show up, machy provided Seals with a good 3rd, perhaps not ideal but it made for an enjoyable match nonetheless. Winning the final was satisfying to some degree, but it was really the rest of the community's congratulations and frankly their attitude towards us that was the real reward(with a few exceptions). I thank all players that showed good spirit towards us. The season as a whole has been the most enjoyable one yet, as I've got to play it with those players that I've played and enjoyed longest like Owls and Geriace, and real life friends like PsYcHo and his brother zero. As well as the overseas component of XileF, Fetzyy, and Raph. The latter 2 being recent additions, and very close to playing in the playoffs. Can't wait for the next season, and be ready for Fetzyy to really blow your minds next season.

With this another season of the most successful Soldat league with over 2800 played matches ended. Usually the next SCTFL starts after a break of some months in November.
